The Annual International Currach Championships return to Warrenpoint over the weekend of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August, hosted by the Carlingford Lough Currach Club on the front shore beside the Baths.
Crews from across Ireland and further afield race the traditional boats on the lough, with the Mournes as the backdrop. Free to watch from the shore — and keep an eye out for “come and try it” sessions if you fancy taking an oar yourself.
