World Voyager Cruise Ship to Arrive in Warrenpoint
On Thursday 18th August, Warrenpoint Port will welcome its third and final cruise ship of the season when the World Voyager arrives.
The world-class small ship is expected to sail up Carlingford Lough between 9am and 10am. Its passengers will disembark and explore the town, as was the case with other recent cruise ships.
The World Voyager, which has a capacity for 200 passengers and 109 crew, left Kiel, Germany on 11th August and has since sailed through the North Sea docking at Edinburgh and Aberdeen. It will depart Warrenpoint around 11pm on Thursday 18th August en route to the Isle of Man. It will then visit Liverpool, Waterford, Portsmouth, Hamburg and Copenhagen before returning to Kiel on 28th August.
So far this summer, Warrenpoint has welcomed two other cruise ships as well as the Tall Ship, the Grace O’Malley, which set sail on 16th August after welcoming more than 2,000 visitors on board.
